Atlas of Zebrafish Development Zebrafish Atlas - Imaging & BioInformatics LIACS Leiden University

Zebrafish Atlas Browser

In the table below you find atlas data that can be browsed using the atlas browser. Some supplementary data on the set of section images are listed in this table to help you choose a set for viewing. In the column about resolution three categories are given. L for low resolution, N for normal resolution and H for high resolution. The low resolution sets are the sets that were generated for pilot studies. As these sets are sampled down, they are, at this moment, extremely useful to transfer the data over the Internet. In the case you are using the atlas-browser for the first time we recommend to use these sets.
See the review pages if you would like to contribute to the project as a reviewer.

** Running the applets on MacOS X with Java 1.4
On MacOS X, the Java 1.4 applets only work with Safari as other browsers will try to use the Java 1.3 environment. Note that the Java 1.4 applets use Java 3D version 1.3.

* Running the applets on MacOS X with Java 1.3
MacOS X prior to 10.1:
In your browser copy the internet address of the dataset you would like to examine by control-clicking the link and copying the link address in the popup menu. Open a Terminal window (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal), type 'appletviewer' and a whitespace at the command prompt, paste the link address and hit the 'return' key. The Appletviewer will launch and run the viewer applet with the chosen dataset.

MacOS X 10.1 or greater:
Applets should run in your browser (Explorer 5.5 or Netscape with a plug-in). Use the links below:
Note that the Java 1.3 applets use Java 3D version 1.2.
